**Duties and Responsibilities**:
The intern will assist in the following duties and responsibilities:
**1. Research and Analysis**
- Provide support in research and analysis, and presents information gathered from diverse sources
- Provide support for knowledge sharing and training on gender sensitive programme related training
- Provide support in preparing research finding, insights and how to communicate them effectively.
- Provide support in the improvement of programme activities, promotion and advocacy by preparing activity logs/reports, lessons learned.
**2. Communication**
- Provide support in content development for website and social media, in close collaboration with Country Office's Communication Unit.
- Provide support in transforming data and information on activities, lessons learned, best practices, and/or project impact into graphics presentations, reports, and publications.
**3. Other**
- Support other/ad hoc activities as seen relevant and needed.

**Required Skills and Experience**:
**Education**:
- currently in the final year of a bachelor's degree
- currently enrolled in a master's degree; or
- have graduated no longer than 1 year ago from a bachelor's degree or master's degree or equivalent studies.
Field of study**:Development Studies, Public Policy, International Relations, Management, Sociology, Social Welfare, Politics, Environmental Studies, Graphic Design, Communication Studies** or equivalent.
**IT skills**:
- Knowledge and a proficient user of Microsoft Office productivity tools;
**Language skills**:
- ** Proficiency in English** is required;
- Knowledge of other UN languages is an advantage.
**Other competencies and attitude**:
- Interest and motivation in working in an international organization;
- Good analytical skills in gathering and consolidating data and research for practical implementation;
- Outgoing and initiative-taking person with a goal oriented mind-set;
- Communicates effectively when working in teams and independently;
- Good in organizing and structuring various tasks and responsibilities;

**INTERNSHIP CONDITIONS**
- UNDP accepts no responsibility for costs arising from accidents and/or illness or death incurred during the internship;
- Interns are responsible for obtaining necessary visas and arranging travel to and from the duty station where the internship will be performed;
- Interns must provide proof of enrolment in health insurance plan;
- Interns are not staff members and may not represent UNDP in any official capacity;
- Interns are expected to work full time, but flexibility is allowed for education programmes;
- Interns need to obtain financing for subsistence and make own arrangements for internship, travel, VISA, accommodation, etc.
