**Role Responsibility**
- Assist Purchasing Manager to implement systems for procurement and control of Aircraft spares and tools efficiently and economically.
- Do the purchase process for aircraft spares and tools.
- Participate in evaluation and selection of suppliers, products and services on the basis of the ability to meet the company requirements including the quality system and regulatory requirements in accordance with documented procedures.
**Functional Duties**
**Role Duties**
- Responsible to do source, request for quotations, preparation of purchase request, loan
order and purchase order of all aircraft's spares, tools are required for aircraft maintenance
and monitor delivery
- Validates purchase requisitions, selects or recommends suppliers, develops and
solicits bids, analyses and evaluates responses, negotiates prices and other terms,
monitors delivery, and maintains necessary records
- Verified invoice from supplier in relevant part purchase and exchange.
- Review the materials requirement for the schedule maintenance for the fleet as per the pre
draw lists given by the Material Planning for hangar visit, modifications, projects, and
special tasks to insure the availability of materials.
- Prepare comprehensive materials reports for the scheduled hangar visit, modifications,
projects and special tasks, keep updating on a regular basis and attend the maintenance
regular meetings to discuss materials status to decide the tasks to be done during the
specific maintenance.
- Ensure all warranty claim documents are available for any spares under warranty for spare
parts come from purchase and exchange.
- Assist Purchasing Manager to liaise with QAM for approval of new suppliers/vendors
- Review and evaluate vendor's performance and follow it up to the respected vendor
- To monitor return of loaned and exchange parts in timely manner
- Maintain effective price control through the completion of regular price comparison.
- Represent Purchasing Department on daily station meeting to ensure all spares required
for maintenance are well informed to respective departments as assigned by Purchasing Manager
**Qualifications**
- Can write and speak English
- Proficient with computer office and data management.
- Minimum one-year experience in the purchasing role.
- Minimum Diploma's or Bachelor degree in engineering or related field.
**Training required for the position (if any)**:
- Basic Purchasing, SCM, Vendor Management, Dangerous Good Awareness
