Business Development, Corporate & Government Sectors - Education Technology Business

Our client is a growing Education Technology business in Indonesia, and presently hiring a Business Development person to develop their corporate and government channels.

**Work Description**:
As a core member of our Client, you will play a crucial role in supporting business initiatives, with a focus on the corporate and government channels. Your responsibilities will encompass various facets, including market analysis, proposal development, negotiations, business development and account management.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Market Analysis and Proposal Development**:

- Identify local business and government institution and individual instructors, training houses and publishers (Skills) that Client should partner with to provide content, programs and experiences as well as to onboard as customers for our technology solutions.
- Understand the pain points and needs that can be served by Client's platform, programs and services and develop business-optimum agreements either upfront or over time.
- **Negotiations and Business Development**:

- Take the lead in driving mutually beneficial partnerships with the identification of all involved stakeholders, communicating clearly to these partners about our value proposition, how it compares to their alternatives and how the partnership can grow over time.
- Oversee account handoff and processes by coordinating with all relevant teams including Product, Engineering, Learning, Operations and Learner Success Teams, to ensure seamless onboarding and high customer satisfaction.
- Provide insights to Business, Technology, Operations and Learning to improve all workflows going forward as part of our continuous improvement process.
- **Account Management**:

- Maintain CRM / database of partners so that account prospecting, management and retargeting efforts are all up to date, efficient and effective.
- Actively monitor customer usage to inform Finance and Legal teams for invoicing, change in contracts and upcoming renewal dates.
- Develop strong rapport with customers to gather market insight, promote retention and referrals, and revenue expansion per account.

**Requirements**:

- They should demonstrate strong connections with private sectors and also government sectors.
- Proficiency in English, both orally and in business writing, is essential.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Education**:

- S1 (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Business Development: 3 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)
- Mandarin (preferred)


Nominal Salary: To be agreed
