**Job Description - Cargo Manager**
The Cargo Manager guides, controls, and drives regional cargo departments to meet organizational goals. The Cargo Manager is also responsible for planning and designing strategies to maximize cargo space utilization and avoid wastage
The Cargo Manager will work collaboratively to strengthen AirAsia's brand image and customer advocacy, promote AirAsia's culture within the organization, ensure transparency and promote good governance. Develop talents and strengthen staff capability; ensure all staff receive appropriate training.

**You will**:
- Work closely with related departments and cross companies within the group in developing annual plan and budget to align with company-wide's strategy including ensuring budget adherence to the approved budget
- Lead SOPs development and amendment to ensure all SOPs align with business objectives and regulatory requirements
- Be responsible for cargo performance
- Gather market intelligence, monitor industry developments and competitor activity in the territory.
- Lead the identification of innovation and continuous improvement initiatives
- Proactively, suggest different ways through which the process of cargo performance can be improved based on trends emerging from the analysis of freight costs and performance KPIs
**You have**:
- Minimum 5 (five) years of working experience in Airline Cargo fields and a minimum of 2 (two) years experience in managerial roles.
- Capability to think strategically, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
- Intermediate Skill/Experience on Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence upward, downward, and across the organization and geographic boundaries.
- Creative, team player, self-motivated, and able to work independently to deadlines and under pressure.
- Fluent in English - written and verbal.
