Cloud Data Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Data Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining cloud-based data infrastructure and services that enable our organization to process, store, and analyze large volumes of data. You will work closely with data scientists, data analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure that our cloud data platform meets the needs of the business.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in cloud data engineering or related field
- Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience with data processing and storage technologies such as Apache Spark, Apache Hadoop, or AWS EMR
- Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, or data warehouses
- Understanding of data pipeline orchestration and related tools such as Apache Airflow or AWS Step Functions Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

**Good to have**:

- Industry-recognized cloud certification such as AWS Certified Big Data - Specialty, Microsoft Azure Data Engineer, or Google Cloud Certified - Professional Data Engineer
- Experience with data streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka, AWS Kinesis or Azure Event Hubs
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and related tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Knowledge of machine learning and related tools such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Familiarity with DevOps and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
