A great Costing Junior Manager job opportunity has just arisen at a leading FMCG company, to provide commercial, planning and financial support on the manufacturing activities of the company. Reporting directly to a Head of Finance, the role is based in Central Jakarta.
About the Costing Junior Manager Role:
As the Costing Junior Manager, you will be responsible for providing analysis, financial insight and business partner with not limited just to manufacturing team but also finance, marketing and others.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide business insight and support analysis in the area of commercial manufacturing to improve visibility, efficiency and control
Develop and maintain standard costing, product costing and new products development costing
Manage regular and ad hoc activities of the existing cost accounting function of the business
Develop dashboards, metrics and tracking system for major cost drivers and factors
Lead and develop costing team
Act as a finance business partner (mainly to the manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, S&OP, etc.) through comprehensive analysis and involved in creation of business strategy and budgeting
Ensure compliance to the company’s controls and process across functional areas via managing regular audits, reviewing cost anomalies and trends and communicating to business partners
Be involved in strategy development in business and providing both commercial and business advice to ensure long term business targets is achieved
Review provision of accounting and consolidate the company’s performance to relevant stakeholders
Monitor spending budget vs actual to ensure costs are maintained to agreed budget levels
Manage commercial team through regular review, setting performance KIP and increase commercial awareness outside of the commercial team by engaging in financial training activities and discussion
To succeed in this role, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with different stakeholders within the business and outside. The selected candidate needs to have experience working in manufacturing and/FMCG company handling costing activities.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's/master's degree in economics/finance/accounting or any relevant disciplines
Minimum of three years' experience at a managerial level, preferably from FMCG/manufacturing/pharmaceutical industry in an MNC
Strong costing knowledge, COGM and capex/investment
Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
Proven team management (managerial) experience and can effectively engage with team members
Strong business and financial acumen with experience in financial analysis and reporting
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Strong verbal and written communication skills coupled with excellent presentation skills
