Country District Manager - Freight

An exciting Country District Manager - Freight job has just become available at one of the big multinational freight forwarder company based in Jakarta. Reporting directly to the Regional Director, this is a role for a Country District Manager who is expert and has both operation management and business development background in freight forwarder industry.
About the Country District Manager - Freight Role:
In this role, you will be responsible to oversee all operation management and business and achieve profitable growth. You will also be a focal point and lead the activity to deliver success to customer and company. The salary range for this role is competitive with provident fund and medical insurance.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle full loop of operation and commercial management activities
Provide business plan to maintain existing market and develop new potential market
Deliver and monitor P&L to align with business target growth
Manage team and strengthen team with coaching skills
Expanding the business in time to time, Visit the existing clients and prospects regularly to demonstrate company capabilities
Strengthen the relationship with external parties such as carriers, trucking company, warehouse, co-loaders and agents to ensure the station obtaining the best terms

To succeed in this Country District Manager - Freight role, you must have operation and business development know-how with a minimum of five years' work experience in an international freight forwarder company.
Key Requirements:
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in business administration or related field
Proven leadership qualities as well as a vast experience in freight forwarder
Strong knowledge in both commercial and operation
Experience in air freight would be preferable
Good track record of grooming P&L at least five years
Excellent communication skills in Thai and English
