An exciting Country Marketing Leader job has become available at one of the biggest FMCG companies.
About the Country Marketing Leader Role:
Reporting to the marketing regional, this is an extremely exciting area of their business, with massive potential, and the opportunity for you to make a real impact on the overall success of their business.
Key Responsibilities:
A 24-month rolling integrated consumer marketing plan, based on consumer, market and competitor insights (which includes the champion propositions)
Optimal allocation of local advertising and proposition spends as input for annual operating plan (AOP) cycles
Localisation of global content and local content creation (influencers, PR, etc.) in collaboration with the digital business leader – consumer, portfolio marketing, including omni-channel calendar and portfolio management (SKU rationalisation/ phase in phase-out)
Drive the marketing team (Business Marketing Managers and professional marketing) and local marketing strategy and planning, owning the advertising and proposition spend responsibility
Responsible for effective planning based on granular analyses: partner with business market and sales (BM&S) leader and Business Development Managers (BDM) to build the handshake and ongoing performance management against the plan
Drive demand generation and ensure that business performance is being delivered according to KPIs such as yearly sales, order intake, market shares, integral gross margin (IGM) through price realisation in markets, A&P, integral sales margin (ISM) and marketing ROI
Champion the voice of the customer and manages a holistic customer experience in the market across the product and services portfolio

To succeed in this role, you should have in-depth knowledge of all marketing aspects (PCP, MIP, Distribution, brand imaging).
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from a reputable university
Minimum of 10 years in brand management from consumer goods company
Contribute to the mid/long term product strategy and distribution strategy
Generate the short/mid-term product road map, including the business plans and goals
Responsible for the product strategy within the business. Directly involved in the definition of the business strategy and distribution strategy
Long-term product planning within the business strategy
Functional leadership towards product, marketers, marcom and product planners in the organisation. Decides on marketing plans, budgets, and external agencies
Co-responsible for technology and components choices
