JOB DESCRIPTION
This opportunity is for our client that specializes in providing high-quality lightweight steel and coil raw materials. As a leading supplier in the industry, the company is committed to delivering superior products that meet the needs of various construction and manufacturing projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and oversee the entire customs clearance process, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
• Handle all documentation and procedures related to import and export activities, including tariff classifications, valuation, and duty payments.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Customs (Bea Cukai) and other relevant authorities to facilitate smooth clearance processes.
• Negotiate with customs officials to resolve any issues or disputes that arise during the clearance process.
• Coordinate with internal departments, such as logistics, supply chain, and finance, to ensure timely and accurate customs documentation and reporting.
• Monitor and stay updated on changes in customs regulations, policies, and procedures, and ensure the company's compliance with these changes.
• Prepare regular reports on customs activities, including costs, timelines, and compliance issues.
JOB REQUIREMENT
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in customs clearance, with a strong track record in handling negotiations with Customs (Bea Cukai).
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• In-depth knowledge of customs regulations, tariff classifications, and import/export procedures.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
