E-Commerce/Web/Application Software Developer

Role Overview
The API/PHP/.NET Software Developer shall play a very integral role in not only developing/enhancing our website/Prestashop e-commerce platform, but also connecting external platforms to our platform using API connections.
There is 10% administrative component that requires theindividual to manage our existing websites, support the CRM/ERP helpdesk tickets incoming from India, handle inventory on several partner databases, manage employee joins/terminations, security badges, and technical product updating.
This role requires very proficient application use of PHP, .NET, MS SQL, and web-based design/development techniques.

Key Responsibilities
Build APIs to connect external platforms to Pretashop’s e-commerce platform.
Customize e-commerce site using CMS, HTML, and other technologies to suit.
Use MySQL/SQL to manage more than 500,000 line items of products demonstrated on the website.
Use AJAX/JSON to create virtual copies of information pulled from the server.
Scrape data from numerous websites for the purposes of extracting, transforming, and reusing the information.
Handle CRM/ERP tickets as and when they arise in the India office.
Within each division, thoroughly understand the current process flow and build simple smart client-based or web-based automation tools to automate the productivity across the team.
Troubleshoot any hardware related issues in the India office.
Qualifications
A diploma, degree, or background in IT, engineering, or similar is preferred.
Must know how to efficiently code in ASP.Net, HTML, Javascript, CSS, jQuery.
Must know how to effectively use .NET based restful web API.
Must know how to develop and read/write/update databases using MySQL and SQL Server
Excellent command of the written and verbal English language.
Is strongly willing to independently learn new software languages and apply them when necessary.
Ability to work independently on strategic issues with client; capable of managing fairly complex projects.
Must have: Experience in e-commerce platform and web apps (Magento, Prestashop, Woocomerce), .NET, Restful API, payment gateway, PHP, MySQL, CSS, proficiency in English.
