Field Officer – Cileungsi And Batam (Please Specify Province In The Job Application)

Yayasan Mercy Corps Indonesia will support more than 250 women-led micro and small entrepreneurs (with less than 19 employees) in two locations in Cileungsi and Batam Area with increased access to financial services, business training and mentoring, and business development. We will use a partnership model to deliver services to entrepreneurs while building the networks and infrastructure that will support entrepreneurs in the future. We will leverage existing relationships with financial institutions, chambers of commerce, business service providers, community business organizations and peer networks to link women entrepreneurs to markets (input, financial and output) with a particular focus on mobilizing financial products. By the end of the project, at least 250 women entrepreneurs will have taken part in training and mentoring activities; increased their use of formal financial services or other business inputs; increased their business activities; hired additional employees or reported increased income.

The Field Officer will support the Empowering Women Entrepreneurs Program Coordinator to ensure that at least 250 women-led entrepreneurs increase knowledge about financial literacy; open new saving account; raise their saving by 20% against baseline measures in Empowering Women Entrepreneurs two locations (Cileungsi and Batam Area). S/he will conduct activities range from assessment, training, monitoring and mentoring to reporting and collaborate with the district government agencies, private sectors, women and or entrepreneurship community and Caterpillar partner.
