Financial Controller

A leading multinational travel and tourism company is looking for a Financial Controller. In this job, you will be responsible for overseeing its finance operations, planning, taxation and treasury functions.
About the Financial Controller Role:
This position is a critical role within the finance/accounting division reporting directly to the SEA Financial Controller. You will be a strategic partner to the Country Head and business line heads in managing the business. Based in Jakarta, this is a great opportunity to join the finance team of a multinational company.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Country Head and work with business line heads in handling business and operational issues
Report on financial performance at management meetings
Provide financial analysis to assist business and operational decision making
Month-end closing, including financial reporting, management reporting, and statutory reporting in compliance with GAAP and SOX
Annual budgeting and quarterly forecast
Audit schedule, manage all internal and external audit matters, and follow up with action plans
Manage cash flow forecast and FX, tax compliance, and payroll processing
Other ad hoc issues

To succeed in this Financial Controller role, you must possess good communication and strong business partnering skills.
Key Requirements:
At least 10 years' experience with strong exposure to overall finance management
Good knowledge of Indonesia GAAP and US GAAP
Strong communication skills
Leadership skills in managing and coaching a team
Good knowledge of local corporate, tax and other regulatory compliance
CPA certification is a plus
