**Job Description**:
- Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times
- Report for duty on time wearing clean and complete uniform at all times
- Attend all briefings, meetings and trainings as assigned by management
- Perform opening/closing side duties as assigned and set all tables according to standards and procedures.
- Check on table setting, cleanliness and side station preparation as per work station assigned prior to the start of operation.
- Ensures guests are well looked after, from the moment they arrive to the time they leave. Greet all patrons warmly upon arrival at the door and escort them to the table.
- Enquires whether guests are satisfied throughout the meal.
- Establishes good relations with guests, offering advice and fostering customer loyalty.
- Deliver F&B services in accordance to departmental standards and procedures.
- Ensure that all food & beverage are served according to service standard.
- Pick up and serve food and beverage orders. Ensure that food and beverage are served promptly to the guests once they are ready, such that they arrive at the patrons' table at the correct temperature.
- Up-sell and promote food and beverage promotion at every available opportunity in order to maximize sales revenue. Cross sell other dining venue when outlet is full.
- Report any complaints, incidents or other irregularities to management.
- Assist other Food & Beverage outlets with their operations during peak times or when required.
- Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Management of the Hotel.
Work Experience
- Minimum a Diploma in Hotel Management is preferred.
- At least 1 year at same capacity at international hotel.
- Must be able to speak and write in English language.
Have other languages will be advantage (Mandarin, Arabic, French, etc)
- Must be team players who are genuinely passionate about serving guests, at all times thoughtfully focusing on anticipating and exceeding their expectations.
- Must be able to interact confidently with guests in a naturally friendly and engaging manner.
- Work fast as well as deal with complaints patiently in order to turn them into positive experiences.
- Service oriented with an eye for details
- Well-presented and professionally groomed at all times
