We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of **Head of Global Trade & Receivables Finance (GTRF)**
**Responsibilities**:
- Drive and deliver revenue growth, achieve target and maximize the financial contribution in line with entity specific target of the GTRF business in Indonesia.
- Drive the delivery of a comprehensive and competitive suite of Trade products and solutions that meet customer requirements with specific focus on developing and commercializing the Structured Trade finance products.
- Coordinate understanding and embedding of appropriate Risk management frameworks (Financial and non-Financial) within GTRF.
- Lead the development and execution of a high-quality customer-centric service culture that delivers superior services to Wholesale Banking customers.
- Position HSBC as the top provider of Trade Finance in Indonesia by developing an appropriate marketing strategy to ensure that HSBC is ranked number one as significant trade product providers' surveys across the country.
- Deepen customer relationships through championing business co-operation with key internal stakeholders and maintain network with key external business facilitators such as regulatory bodies, industry forums, professional services firms etc.
- Drive a high-performance and value-based culture through effective people management activities.
- Drive up employee engagement by taking actions against agreed priorities in identified action plans.
- Lead GTRF team to ensure competency and collaboration within GTRF as well as with the Wholesale Banking team and the wider HBID team.
- Maintain and observe all HSBC control standards and implement the Bank Compliance Policy, including the timely implementation of recommendations made by internal/external auditors and external regulators.
- Effectively understand and manage key FCC and Operational risks, adhere to legal and regulatory compliance/guidance and all applicable HSBC standards and address any external/internal and regulatory issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Review existing processes and controls and make appropriate changes to ensure that robust controls are built around the processes along with the remediation plans
Qualifications
**To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements**:
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
- Broad wholesale banking and relationship management experience (min. 10-15 years of experience) including an in-depth knowledge of the Trade products.
- Experience in developing and commercializing structured trade products (Supply chain finance, Receivables finance etc.) will be viewed as an advantage.
- Highly developed management skills, with experience in team building and managing a wide range of projects.
- Ability to lead and motivate other managers and staff, employing appropriate management styles.
- Ability to influence and navigate in a matrix organization.
- Highly developed communication and influencing skills set.
- Experience of managing resources to achieve objectives using appropriate communication, delegation, and planning skills.
- Ability to use strong judgmental skills to identify and resolve problems whilst maintaining budgets, time scales, and quality of output.
- A sound knowledge of various aspects of a Wholesale Banking business.
- Good understanding of various risk management frameworks (financial and non-financial)
