Overview:
The Head of Trade Marketing is responsible to lead the channel development and trade marketing strategy and execution. This role will also play a pivotal role in shaping the brand presence in the market.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop & recommend channel strategy in line with category development and brand developmental plan
- Develop channel plan includes budgeting, execution and monitoring
- Take ownership of, and manage, a customer management business process which ensures effective communication and liaison between Sales, Marketing and other departments in order to optimize key business opportunities.
- Develop focused trade strategies for category in each key account and trade channel. Ensure these strategies are in tandem with brand positioning and potential of the accounts / channels.
- Keep track, analyses and evaluate accounts' profitability. Identify customers who do not meet the Company's guidelines and recommend action to improve level of requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of trade promotions and in-store promotions to determine whether these meet the Company' objectives.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment and effective execution of trade marketing initiatives.
- Analyse trade marketing performance metrics, using data-driven insights to recommend improvements.
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or any field. Preferred at least 8 years of experience in trade marketing role, preferable from FMCG Industry.
