Maintenance Technician, People (Contract-Based)

People are key to Shopee's growth, and as our business expands, so does the need to develop and support our employees.
- Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues.
- Repair faulty equipment units and damaged structures.
- Develop and implement preventative and corrective maintenance procedures.
- Manage electrical and plumbing systems to guarantee functionality, also plan and schedule repairs.
- Conduct periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard.
- Perform general maintenance tasks including repairing, painting, etc.
- Help develop and implement the budget for the maintenance department.
- Maintain the inventory records for equipment and supplies.
- Proactively gives input to Shopee team for facility maintenance.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- General knowledge of HVAC, CCTV, Access Control, Civil, and UPS function and maintenance
- Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
- Physically capable and available to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
- Willing to go to site if needed if there is a sudden / emergency work that needs immediate response
- Effective problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be well-organized and have the ability to prioritize tasks.
