As a Market Insight Executive at AirAsia, you will play a vital role in driving the company's consumer-focused strategy and planning. By conducting research projects and generating insights, you will contribute to the development of sound strategies and recommendations to fuel the growth of AirAsia's airline business.
**Responsibilities**:
Insight Generation and Research:
- Plan and execute research initiatives, ensuring the delivery of insightful and actionable reports that address key business questions.
- Leverage research findings and insights to support the development of marketing and commercial strategies and plans.
- Utilize both quantitative and qualitative methods to conduct research effectively.
Project Management:
- Manage in-house projects and liaise with external research firms, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery of project milestones.
- Perform operational and administrative tasks necessary for project success.
Relationship Building:
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships within AirAsia's airline and other Line-of-Business teams.
- Foster relationships with external parties to enhance collaboration and access to valuable insights.
Consumer-Focused Mindset:
- Collaborate with the Market Insight Manager to foster a consumer-focused mindset across the organization.
- Support the development of strategies and plans that cater to consumer needs and align with AirAsia's brand DNA.
**Requirements**:
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a research firm or a client-side insight team. Fresh graduates from business, management, and marketing fields are also welcomed.
- Demonstrated track record in conducting research and developing reports using quantitative and qualitative methods.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Agile, self-motivated, and possess strong critical thinking skills to thrive in an ever-changing market.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations.
- Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel (Google Slides and Sheets).
- Open to frequent travel.
