As a Mechanical API Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of mechanical equipment in the Oil & Energy sector. Your expertise and knowledge of API standards will contribute to the success of our clients' projects, and ultimately, the growth and reputation of Eram Talent.
If selected, the work location would be in Saudi Arabia. Responsibilities Conduct inspections and evaluate the integrity and quality of mechanical equipment in accordance with API standards. Perform inspections on various projects within the Oil & Energy industry, including equipment such as pressure vessels, storage tanks, and piping systems. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including API 510, API 570, and other applicable codes. Review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation to verify compliance with API standards. Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) such as visual inspections, ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle testing, and radiographic testing. Document inspection findings and prepare reports detailing any non-conformances. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality and compliance issues. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in API inspection techniques. Minimum 8+ years of experience as a Mechanical API Inspector in the Oil & Energy industry. Certifications: API 510, API 570, and AWS-CWI or CSWIP-3.1 Strong knowledge of API standards, including API 510, API 570, and other applicable codes. Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance requirements. Demonstrated experience in conducting inspections on pressure vessels, storage tanks, and piping systems. Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and documentation. Experience with Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods such as visual inspection, ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle testing, and radiographic testing. Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and document non-conformances. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
