Job Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and detailed inspections of mining equipment and machinery to ensure optimal operational condition.
- Identify wear and tear or damage to equipment and assess the need for repairs or replacements.
- Coordinate and execute preventive and corrective maintenance as scheduled and needed.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to carry out necessary repairs efficiently.
- Monitor and record all maintenance and repair activities for documentation and reporting purposes.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports, including recommendations for repairs or improvements.
- Ensure that all inspection and maintenance activities comply with safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Identify potential hazards and implement preventive measures to avoid accidents.
- Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends or recurring issues.
- Recommend improvements to maintenance processes and operational efficiency.
JOB REQUIREMENT
- Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a mechanic or equipment inspector in the mining industry or heavy industry.
- In-depth knowledge of mining equipment and heavy machinery, as well as maintenance and repair principles.
- Skills in diagnostic tools and inspection techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and address equipment issues.
- Solid understanding of safety standards and procedures in a mining environment.
- Good communication skills and proficiency in preparing technical reports.
