**How You'll Make an Impact**
- For this role you will maintain optimum interaction with Head of Field Service, Field Service Coordinators, Project Managers and Service Engineering department
- in addition to customer representatives, ensuring that all project related activities are planned and executed in accordance with Siemens Energy Quality and EHS standard procedures and the relevant project documentation.
- Develop, train, motivate and lead a diverse team of highly qualified Field Service engineers to become a benchmark for energy service implementation including training, operational and strategic resource development, team building etc.
- Establish and maintain global technological as well as processual, HSE and Quality standards and best practices in AP in collaboration with the PCCs and facilitate upload of AP local/regional best practices to the network.
- Support and provide active guidance in internal resource planning, operational resources allocation management, and capability management to the Field Service Administration team.
- Support strategic development of FS including cost savings, sales support, technical and business development initiatives and initiate cost savings measures based on individual and the teams ingenuity, and execute relevant activities
- Support sales and planning departments in the preparation of time schedules parts lists and all resources requirement lists.
- Participate in customer meetings and provide technical support during sales efforts, identifies potential delays and minimizes their impact. Supports claim management.
**On Site Support**
- Travel to Siemens-Energy customer sites throughout Region Asia Pacific and abroad to perform maintenance, repair, and modification of gas turbines, generators, and related equipment.
- Leading job site safety programs and performs complex site surveys to develop maintenance plans and support Site Lead PM and direct subcontractors to perform specific maintenance related tasks.
- Review complex task plans, drawings, and installation schematics and provide continual mentorship throughout task duration.
- Cost effective execution of work within allocated budget and time - These calls for effective planning aimed at optimal use of resources for maximum productivity
**What You Bring**
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering discipline from a reputable college or university
- 5-10 years of experience in Field service, Technical support or Project Engineer position, preferably Mechanical engineering and demonstrated ability in leading others within a project or team environment.
- You should expect to work away from your home location as per request.
- You have profound know-how and extensive work experience with all service disciplines of the Siemens Energy product line. Additional working knowledge of Siemens products in any service disciplines and product lines will have added advantage.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in English, strong networking, negotiating, and influencing skills.
- Able to prioritize tasks and to manage workloads in an effective manner with mínimal direct supervision and flexibility in managing multiple and diverse tasks.
- Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in time critical situations.
- Sensitive and responsive to the needs of different religious, ethnic, tribal, and cultural groups.
- Proven integrity and high personal standards of behavior.
- Experience in working in a multinational and multicultural environment, as well as proven interpersonal skills and ability to successfully engage with diverse audiences.
- Profound understanding of relevant on-site, sales, project and back-office processes, standards, and requirements with the ability to challenge the status Quo and implement best-in-class solutions in a diverse, multinational professional environment.
- High level of intrinsic motivation, resilience and personal engagement to achieve general, organizational and project specific targets.
- Pro-active approach, up-to-date know-how, proven track record on successful implementation of HSE in service execution.
- Good working knowledge in MS Office suite
