** Your Role **:The National Reporting + Tax Manager will be responsible for planning, preparation, and co-ordination of the reporting functions. This includes the preparation of the Financial Statements for both internal and external purposes. This role would also encompass all tax related matters for direct and indirect tax including preparation, review, and submission of tax returns to the relevant authorities. The person in this role will also act as an internal tax advisory to the country organization and drive the overall tax strategy and planning within Indonesia.
** Your Responsibilities**:
- To lead month-end closing activities ensuring to have all bookings done in a timely and accurate manner.
- Manage the general ledgers for all entities and perform analytical reviews and balance sheet reconciliations on key accounts monthly.
- Lead the statutory audit with our external auditors and ensure completion of the Audit in a timely manner i.e., in line with the corporate reporting deadlines.
- Review and implement accounting policies in line with local legislations.
- Lead the tax reporting function, manages both direct and indirect tax matters and ensure compliances to statutory deadlines.
- Abreast to the latest changes in tax regulation to ensure compliances to local legislation as well as to ensure alignment with KN accounting policies.
- Act as main point of contact and lead any tax audits in Indonesia.
- Lead and drive tax-related IT projects aimed at improving automation, data analytics, and overall efficiency in tax processes.
- Provide training and support to internal teams to enhance their understanding of tax matters.
- Provide training to the BU/FU's on tax regulations esp. on VAT.
- Provide guidance and act as a strategic partner in implementing tax initiatives from Corporate Tax team
**Your Skills and Experiences**:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Finance or Economics.
- Experience in the logistics industry is a plus
- Having project management experience is an advantage
- Proven 2-5 years of leadership experience, including reporting to the CFO
- Demonstrated expertise in financial and tax topics
- Possess a structured work approach and excellent organizational skills, ensuring efficiency in handling responsibilities.
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia, facilitating effective collaboration and understanding.
- A team-oriented mindset, with experience working seamlessly in a multi-cultural team environment.
- Proficient in financial systems and IT skills
