Operations Director

A leading global integrated logistics services company is looking for an Operations Director in Jakarta. In this job, you will maintain day-to-day management and grow the business.
About the Operations Director Role:
Reporting to the President Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and directing all aspects of the organisation, focusing on the business plan, strategic review, client relationship management and change management.
Key Responsibilities:
Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of the organisation's mission - specifically, supporting better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organisational planning
Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of support services (HR, IT and finance), through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and business functions
Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence. Oversee overall financial management, planning, systems and controls

To succeed in this position, it is important to have knowledge of change management, client relationship management as well as understanding of business and management principles, leadership strategies and strategic planning.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in finance, business or a related field plus eight years of relevant work experience
15 years of experience with a minimum of five years of experience in end-to-end supply chain
Experience creating and driving business strategy
Cross-functional project management experience
Ability to manage people, build teams and communicate effectively
