People are key to Shopee's growth, and as our business expands, so does the need to develop and support our employees.
- Provide leadership, support, advocacy and vision to the technical recruiters and support staff who provide recruiting support to hiring managers across related functions.
- Collaborate with hiring managers in understanding the needs and roles to be filled as well as review job descriptions for vacancies.
- Manage the recruiting pipeline including determining resources status and needs, coordinating recruiting events and sourcing activities, assessing, and managing referral processes
- Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Supervising the recruiting team and reporting on its performance
- Keeping track of recruiting metrics (e.g. time-to-fill and cost-per-hire)
**Requirements**:
- Proven work in Leadership role with 7+ years hands-on experience
- Minimum of 3 years experience in people management or lead a team
- Proven and experienced as a articulate recruitment consultant / headhunter (will be a plus point)
- Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and HR databases
- Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Someone that understand and have experiences in full-cycle recruiting and employer branding initiatives
- Fast learner in understanding the duties and competencies of different roles
- An empath with great project management skills & strong communication skills to build relationships with various hiring managers
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.
