**Purpose of the role**
These may include but are not limited to print and display procurement, account management, liaising with clients, managing approvals of printed proofs, and attending press checks.
- Be a consultant to advise and collaborate with the Client's merchandising team on developing Visual Merchandising POSM, e.g., COC, Trays, Standee, Store dress, Hangers, Accessories Display tools, etc.
- Advise and collaborate with the client for the structural design of displays in terms of raw material uses, safety, and functional aspects. Should lead the conversation during conceptualisation delivering ideation, innovation, and providing optimized solutions to clients.
- Collaborate with Vendors to execute design given by the merchandising team and manage the production.
- Partner with Creative Visual Merchandisers to ensure that Creative meets budgets, timelines, and executions.
- Make recommendations about alternate print & display specifications that deliver either a cost, quality, or timeliness benefit to the client.
- Visit relevant markets to provide support in Visual Merchandising implementation.
- Regularly research design inspiration in global culture, architecture, fashion, art, furniture, and materials. Build and maintain an archive of visual and material inspirations.
- Manage printer proof/ mock-up approval process, including reviewing the proof/ mock-up to ensure colour, layout, size, material etc., are as per approved artwork.
- Ensure the briefing received from client is clear in terms of requirements before being forwarded to suppliers.
- Proactively check the supplier's progress on the different steps of the production process and keep everything under tight control.
- Ensure all activities are properly updated in the IWW system and all steps are followed so orders can be closed in a timely manner to process billing.
**Skills, knowledge, experience, and exposure**
- Proven work experience as Production Manager/ Production Planner/ Project Manager/ Account Executive/ Account Manager/ relevant roles **in** **a marketing agency** who understands creative design, visual merchandising, POSM/ retail display projects.
- Practical skills for supporting window / in-store and event installations.
- Passion and interest in sustainability and circular business model initiatives
- Retail and wholesale shop planning project experience will be a plus.
- Proficiency with all MAC / PC platforms, InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, sketch up and PowerPoint will be preferable. Intermediate knowledge of Outlook and Excel.
