Power Engineer

Job Description

Analyze site requirements for power consumption based on network equipment and traffic load.

Evaluatu various power supply options, including grid connection, generators, and renewable energy sources like solar panels.

Analysis of data in the maintenance management system to implement continual performance improvement.

Perform power consumption calculations and create detailed technical specifications for power systems.

Measure site wise power performance and make recommendations for optimization of power assets.

Collaborate with related team to ensure proper integration of power systems with the overall BTS site layout.

Prepare technical documentation like single line diagrams and equipment layouts for power systems.

Monitor project progress relating to power solutions and address any technical challenges that arise during implementation.

Monitor the use of materials and equipment, report on performance.

Maintain and implement safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.

Ensure good engineering practice by contractors.

Diagnose and recommend solutions to escalated electrcial issuesatti.

Requirement

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Power Engineering or a related field.

Working knowledge of power systems, including AC/DC principles, power distribution, and electrical safety regulations.

Experience with power systems design software and tools.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and coordination abilities.

Familiarity with telecom network infrastructure and BTS operations.
