Essential Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:
• Develop, implement and manage the ASEAN wide PGTH strategy
• Establish the required processes and key metrics to monitor site environmental performance and VCP outcomes related to PGTH initiatives
• Be the regional focal point for any PGTH related escalations that cannot be resolved by the in-country PGTH champions
• Be the regional PGTH training instructor to enhance the local PGTH champions & Field Engineer abilities to properly identify and address power quality issues
• Ensure that both pro-active and reactive PGTH audits are completed on-time, results are reviewed and approved according to GEHC specifications

• Ensure that any defects that are found during PGTH audits are corrected in a timely fashion to prevent any system failure
• Partner with HPM and electrical vendors to plan PGTH monitoring tool installations during equipment installations

• Address all power quality issues during the pre-installation planning phase and ensure that site environmental parameters meet GE specifications prior to equipment install and power on
• Be an active participant in discussions with customers about the sale of UPS’s and other power quality options
• Partner with power monitoring tool vendors for purchasing, technical escalations, data sheet updates, firmware updates and all related technical and administrative follow up actions
• Work with certified electricians to supervise monitoring tool installations. Ensure required SOP’s and guidelines for electricians and field teams are available and updated to ensure a well-documented scope of work within accepted EHS guidelines
• Calculate the PGTH audit outcomes and communicate them as proof of concept while documenting the benefits of the program for both business and customer experience
• Work with cross functional teams to increase awareness, show the program benefits and promote the monitoring tools as unique competitive advantage to our customers

• Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position including EHS.
• Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines including EHS.
• Identify and report any and all customer quality or compliance concerns immediately to the Quality Organization.
• Identify and report any personal quality or compliance concerns immediately to the Quality Organization.
• Drive continuous improvement on all related processes, work instructions, and procedures to ensure ongoing standardization and simplification of the Quality Management System.

Role Summary/Purpose

ASEAN Services Field Power and Grounding Leader will develop the ASEAN wide strategy to monitor and eliminate power quality and grounding related failures for the improvement of equipment performance. He/she will work closely with region power quality and grounding champions as well as with global counterparts.

This role will be reporting to the ASEAN Service Operations Manager.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or similar electrical or power related qualification • At least 2 years of field experience with Diagnostic Imaging equipment and its applications
• At least 2 years of field experience in power and grounding processes, tools and applications
• Excellent verbal, written and communication skills
• Effective decision-making capabilities
• Proven analytical and quantitative skills
• Proven ability to influence cross-fucntional and multi-culutural teams to achieve results
• Effective presentation skills
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications:
• Certified Power Quality Professional, Professional Engineer License or equivalent
• Green Belt certified or familiar with Six Sigma quality concepts and tools
• Demonstrated commitment for process improvement
• Customer-focused in defining quality and establishing priorities
