Work in close collaboration with sales team on proposals and pitches for business
Attend meeting with Business Development Managers and act as product/technical expert
Work closely with customers to devise custom product offerings in line with customer requirements
Maintain a thorough knowledge of the company's products and service offerings
Deliver presentations and product demonstrations with in-depth knowledge
Liaise with Product Managers to provide feedback from clients about product requirements; or ideas to help them innovate or stay ahead of where the market is going
Conduct research to stay ahead of their area of expertise - understanding current and future market, product and competitor
Respond to customers following requests for information and proposal requests and to technical questions about the product or related infrastructure
Minimum Bachelor degree in Finance, Marketing, International Business, IT
Min 10 years of relevant business experience working with software solutions
Deep knowledge about Financial services/banking industry; including but not limited to regulatory environment, technology trends, competitive landscape; model governance
Prior experience working within a technical presales position; experience working for a competitor in a similar position would be a strong advantage
Ability to articulate technical information to non-technical staff in a way that is easy to understand
Strong client facing skills and problem-solving skills including an ability to think on your feet when faced with challenging questions
Executive presence and ability to collaborate with colleagues
Outstanding relationship management skills; communication, negotiation, influencing, planning, presentation and motivation
