Product Development

Job Summary- This is an intermediate level position on the Product Development team providing project and process support and analysis under the guidance of a more senior consultant, project lead, or direct manager.- Job Qualifications- Required:

- Bachelors Degree and 2 or more years of experience in the Product Development area
- AND- Project management experience

Preferred:

- Change Management skills- Experience with state filing departments
- Job Accountabilities - Key Accountabilities- Provides insight and analysis, and executes plans as required under the guidance of an experienced analyst/project lead.- Utilizes technology and analysis skills to assist in the tracking of projects through the Governance Review process.
- Monitors progress of multiple projects throughout cycle; develops and maintains project documentation/materials (e.g. governance documentation, meeting materials, issue log, status updates, etc.).
- Conducts research, analysis, and interpretation of assigned product update issues.
- Leads governance review process for major project work. Schedules meetings, documents and tracks action items, compiles and distributes comments, and documents and tracks action items.
- Applies thorough understanding of the Product Development process to assists partners in navigating the process.
- Drafts product language for small, straightforward projects.
- Monitors, coordinates, and drafts state objection responses.
- Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with partners within Product Underwriting and other functional disciplines (e.g. Corporate Law, BU, Claims Legal, Regulatory Affairs, etc.).
