- The Product Management team at Shopee is the key focal point between the business, engineering and design teams. The team is responsible for implementing strategy, roadmaps and features, while adhering to business goals. The Clearing & Settlement team is instrumental in facilitating monetary settlements among key marketplace stakeholders, including buyers, sellers, the Shopee platform, and various third-party partners. We also collaborate closely with finance and operations to develop solutions to address evolving regulatory requirements, safeguarding the online marketplace platform against financial and regulatory risks. - Define and execute product strategy with cross-functional teams to drive overall business impact while ensuring good user experience and regulatory compliance
- Define a key direction that focuses on driving project efficiency and shaping product roadmap
- Define and monitor key performance indicators to measure and drive product success
- Conduct thorough market analysis to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs
- Drive operation efficiency by deeply understanding the business team's concerns and their workflow.
- Work with the design and development team to translate our consumer insights and business know-how into products and systems that are impacting users daily life
- Work closely with finance and compliance teams to ensure the product complies with regulatory standards.
- Take ownership of the product development lifecycle and ensure timely delivery of the product pipeline
- Regularly update and engage with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure transparency and regular updates on product development process
**Job Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Business, Finance, Accounting, or related disciplines
- Minimum of 3 years' experience with leadership exposure in product management, business analysis, or data science is preferred. Experience with a top tech company is also a plus
- Robust quantitative and qualitative reasoning skills and strong in logical and critical thinking
- Strong communication skills, able to drive complicated discussions and coordinate projects with multiple stakeholders
- Result-oriented, self-starting, and possess a strong sense of ownership
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to adapt in an agile environment
- Proficient in English
