Management Sciences for Health is looking for a Regional Human Resources Partner to implement practices and activities of the Human Resources Management (HRM) Office in Indonesia providing a full spectrum of HR services and programs linked to organizational and project needs and objectives. The HRP works closely with MSH Corporate Human Resources, Project Directors, Project HR, and the Indonesia Leadership Team to support the achievement of organizational and country goals and objectives through the development implementation, and management of HR activities.
About your role
Reporting to the Director of Human Resource, the Human Resources Partner will coordinate the implementation of people-related services, policies, and programs through Human Resources staff, assist, and advise other Project HR staff and Project Directors about Human Resources issues in Indonesia Country Office.
**Responsibilities**:
- Act as a strategic partner to the organization by understanding mission, vision, values and organizational direction, goals and objectives. Facilitate strategic organizational meeting and provide advice to assigned organizational leadership, as assigned
- Contribute to the HR team effort by mentoring and assisting other HR staff within projects as necessary to support a high performing work group
- Support with change management efforts, communicate organizational changes, and assist managers and employees, as needed
- Oversee and ensure all recruitment policies and procedures are adhered to and recommend improvements
- Support with review and prepare recruitment materials including job descriptions, job specifications, adverts, donor approval memos and interview questions for positions to be filled
- Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings
- Ensure planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counselling employees and supervisors
- Compensation, Benefits and Payroll Management
- Oversee the full cycle performance review cycle process and ensure that deadlines are met. Conduct training during performance review process
- Assist Supervisors/Mangers with managing performance issues and ensure planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work
- Manage HR Metrics and effectively report data
- Audit information in the Workday HRMIS system for accuracy
- Assist in analyzing statistical data and reports to support appropriate management decision making

Specific requirements for this role would be:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management is required. Advanced degree in Business Administration (MBA) or similar field from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 8 years of professional level HR experience, 10 years preferred, plus demonstrated success as an HR generalist supporting employee groups of 100+ employees.
- The HRP should have experience working with international development programs in Indonesia; demonstrable experience working with USG funded programs.
- Must have strong understanding of Indonesia employment laws.
- Demonstrated success in supporting other HR staff, key senior management and building relationship.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to interact professionally with culturally and linguistically diverse staff, clients, and consultants.
- Effective presentation and facilitation, team and leadership development, conflict resolution, and organizational influence skills in organizational effectiveness and leadership development, preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and fluency in local languages; other languages strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated computer proficiencies, including Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database management.
- Ability to travel to assigned districts in Indonesia for HR initiatives as needed.
- Demonstrated ability to gain the trust and confidence of colleagues and to handle confidential matters discreetly and have experience in conflict resolution.
