Research Associate

**Description**:

- Collaborate with breeders and scientists to implement a research testing and screening program for hybrids in the low elevation segment of Java, while ensuring proper maintenance of company assets and monitoring of operating budget.
- Collaborate with Business and Research teams to understand product needs for the rainfed market in the Low Elevation segment.
- Ensure products are created, properly characterized, and advanced in alignment with business needs; ensure timely availability of seeds for testing.
- Collaborate with research scientists and business teams for any special projects in the area of responsibility
- Upgrade technical skills and ensure compliance on the Company's Core Values

**Qualifications**:

- M.Sc. Agriculture specialization in Plant Breeding & Genetics or Agronomy
- Current driver's license and willingness to travel.
- Agronomy experience
- Operation of agricultural machinery & modern GPS systems
- Excellent communication, analytical skills, and attention to detail
- Well-developed time management skills
- Motivated to work as part of a small team, as well as independently.
- Ability to work non-standard work hours.
- Ability to problem solve.
