Job Description Summary:
The Senior Stakeholder Engagement Officer reports to the Head of Stakeholder Engagement and is a member of Policy & Partnerships - Group Sustainability and Communications Division. With a focus on industry association engagement and sustainability standard systems, they are responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships between the company and various stakeholders, including but not limited to, industry associations, sustainability standards organisations, NGOs, government officials, and other external partners.

Job Description:
- Stakeholder Mapping & Engagement Strategy: Identify and map relevant stakeholders, including industry associations, sustainability standard organisations, NGOs and other key players in the agribusiness industry, with a focus on palm oil. Assess stakeholder expectations and provide the company with analysis and recommendations based on these assessments. Develop a proactive engagement strategy to foster collaboration and build mutually beneficial relationships.- Industry Association & Sustainability Platform Engagement: Represent the company in industry associations and sustainability certification standards system and platforms including but not limited to: Indonesian Growers Caucus (IGC), GAPKI, RSPO, POCG, etc. Where the company is in the position of Chair of these forums/platforms provide secretariat support and internal coordination, for example support communications between the IGC and RSPO. Actively participate in meetings, working groups and conferences to stay abreast of industry trends and contribute to the development of industry best practices.- Sustainability Standard Compliance: Stay updated on sustainability standards, certifications and reporting frameworks relevant to the palm oil industry and agribusiness sector more broadly. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the company meets requirements, and delivers on timebound plans where applicable.- Communication & Reporting: Develop and implement effective communication strategies to engage stakeholders and promote the company's sustainability initiatives. Prepare reports, presentations, and other communication materials to highlight the company's sustainability achievements and progress. Ensure transparent and accurate reporting aligned with industry standards and frameworks. For example, related to RSPO such as membership updates, Non-Compliant Land Clearance (NCLC) Disclosure, RaCP process, ACOP, Supply Chain Disclosure, and Time-Bound Plan (TBP).- Stakeholder Feedback & Grievance Mechanisms: Establish mechanisms to gather stakeholder feedback on sustainability practices and address any concerns or grievances. Monitor and respond to inquiries, complaints, or requests for information related to sustainability issues. Collaborate with relevant teams to investigate and resolve stakeholder concerns in a timely and effective manner.- Internal Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sustainability, supply chain, legal, and communications, to integrate sustainability considerations into business operations. Coordinate with SustComms and Operations teams, and other relevant external parties, to develop the company's inputs and responses to new and/or existing sustainability requirements and grievances against the company registered in the sustainability platforms. Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on sustainability standards, industry association engagement, and effective stakeholder communication.

Job Requirement:
- Degree in relevant field (Business Communications, Environmental Science, Social, Public Policy Analysis)- Minimum 4 years working experience in stakeholder engagements- Understanding of the Indonesian government regulations;- Competence on planning and organizing workflows, meetings and events;- Analytical with attention to detail; and consequentially make good decisions/ recommendations towards resolution;- Proficient in English (both written and oral communication skills)
