As the Senior Analyst, Logistics Transportation, you will assist in supervising daily domestic transportation for primary and secondary transportation. You will coordinate with internal team like commercial/ sales team, customer fulfillment, manufacturing, warehouse operation, supply planning in order to have flawless execution to achieve monthly target.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for both domestic primary (Regional Distribution Center (RDC) and Contract Manufacturing Finished Goods transfer execution) and secondary transportation (domestic delivery to customer)
- Manage the selection and contractual relationship with suppliers to minimize costs and optimize performance, to understand where losses are present and the right tools to use to eliminate the waste
- Assist and act as backup for line manager for secondary transportation performance analysis and meet the target for cost, productivity, services, and safety regulation
- Provide root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action needed
- Manage Strategic Finance (SF) Budgeting and Cost Management (co-owner) and lead cost saving initiatives
- Ensure cross functional collaboration are in place with Safety Health Environment (SHE), Quality, Regulatory Compliance
- Manage Transportation process like shipment planning, trucking management, etc.
- Responsible for Transportation digitalization and automation and Transportation operational continuous improvement
- Lead the team to develop functional and sustainable capabilities in operations
**Required Skills / Experience / Competencies**:
- Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering, Transportation Management, Supply Chain, or related fields
- Minimum 2 to 3 years' experience in Logistics, preferably in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with SAP Transportation Management would be an added advantage
