This position works directly under the supervision of the District Business Manager. Join our growing team in Kennametal as a Senior Key Account Specialist / Sales Lead to be based in Indonesia.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage established End user and Channel Sales Partner relationships. • Expand sales in existing customers and distribution partners while actively looking for new customer generation.
• Achieve sales targets and other KPIs as defined by the management.
• Maintains intense market knowledge of competitors and market gaps.
• Provide technical expertise on products (e.g., product lifecycle obsolescence), customer programs (e.g., product upgrades) and customer cost savings initiatives.
• Visit End users and distribution partners from time to time.
• Generate leads through cold calling, networking events, and follow-ups to successfully close business accounts.
• Continuously improve current working knowledge of existing and new products and services.
• Any other duties as assigned by the management.
Knowledge And Experience:
• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering. • Preferably with 7 – 10 years of sales experience in metal cutting tools or CNC machine business.
• Highly strategic thinker and can work with multiple distributors.
• Self-motivated, aggressive in pursuing objectives, and can work with minimum supervision.
• Good in English spoken & written skills.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Windows / Office environment.
• Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
• Learning agility, Ability to understand technical products, systems, and solutions.
• Ability to assess customer needs competently.
• Strong interpersonal & communication skills, the ability to work with different functions.
• Possess own transport.
