Tax Staff Accountant

**Responsibility**
- Maintain and update accounting records and files
- Analyze budgets and create expense reports
- Check tax policies and handle tax payments and returns
- Meet with clients to discuss confidential accounting matters
- Post transactions and categorize records in ledgers (e.g. by assets, liabilities and expenses)
- Bank statement reconciliation
- Analyze transactions with internal and external stakeholders
- Perform month-end and year-end closing
- Prepare documents for audit
- Implement new accounting policies and ensure compliance with rules and regulations
- Report to Accounting Manager and work to improve financial processes

**Requirements and skills**
- Similar experience as a Staff Accountant or a relevant role in accounting
- Excellent use of Microsoft Office Word and Excel; very good with spreadsheets
- Mastering accounting information systems
- Having Brevet A&B certificate is a plus
- Good math skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Confidentiality and integrity

**Salary**: From Rp2,900,000 per month

**Education**:

- D1-D4 (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Tax & Accounting: 1 year (preferred)
