**The Opportunity**:
Responsible for the management of the business unit and directing the business to ensure effective and profitable operation and growth. Accountable to Indonesia and Regional management for formulation and execution of current and long-term objectives, review and implementing of the business unit's operating plans, policies and operational controls.

**Responsibilities**:
- Provides overall direction and management for the business unit in Indonesia, ensuring strategies are communicated, cascaded and implemented effectively.
- Directs the operation of the business unit to maintain established cost and quality standards, attain projected revenue and profit levels and achieve client satisfaction goals.
- Develops/updates the business unit's business plan and monitors financial performance to safeguard the business' profitability. Integrates regional objectives, plans and budgets to ensure the achievement of agreed objectives.
- Drives annual budget and prudently manages business's resources within the budget guidelines. Delivers results consistent with the business's growth and profitability norms.
- Oversees the full range of functions, i.e., client relationship management, sales and marketing, finance, human resources, administration and operations of the business unit, noting that some functions reside in other units.
- Develops and maintains an organization structure which encourages colleagues to seek opportunities to ensure growth and continued profitability. Ensure that colleagues are selected, trained, counselled and rewarded to maintain performance standards.
- Fulfills governance functions and ensures that all corporate activities and operations are carried out in compliance with relevant regulations and laws.
- Acts as chief spokesperson for the business unit in dealing with major customers, carriers and business initiatives in Indonesia.
- Maintains a positive community image and remains current on local business trends.
- Other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

**Skills and experience that will lead to success**:
- Degree in any relevant discipline
- Experience in market & strategy and business development roles within the financial services industry
- Understanding of Indonesia insurance market
- Understanding of Health solutions client network with strong commercial mindset
- Good communication skills with ability to present, negotiate and influence at HR and C suite level with clients
- Effective people management and team member engagement skills
- Proven track record in delivering creative solutions in deal negotiation, to deliver new business opportunity aligned to client need
