Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Jakarta
Reports To: Accounts Payable Team Lead
Role Purpose:
- Responsible for all key aspects of the AP function
- Approve & process claim and other payments via Aspire
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of all payment transactions
- Work closely with vendors and suppliers relating to invoices for payment
- Ensure transactions are posted to the appropriate entity, account codes, properties & cost center, VAT properly accounted for, and that all supplier invoices are properly supported by required purchase orders or approvals
- Perform scheduled payment runs in a timely manner and process urgent payments when required whereby suppliers are being paid in accordance with specified payment terms
- Assist AP Team Lead on month end and year end AP closing including making appropriate accruals
**Requirements**:
- At a minimum, degree in Accounting or related field
- 1-2 years of experience with Account Payable or Accounting
- Strong attention to detail with a dedication to accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to manage and prioritize time and be committed to meet deadlines for assigned tasks and deliverables
