The role of the Product and clinical Specialist is to enable, facilitate, and support sales of Elekta Linac and BrachyTherapy solutions in Indonesia.
This Product and Clinical Specialist plays a key customer-facing role in supporting sales in the field with the knowledge and experience in a respective clinical and Physics environment. Working with the local BU head of sales, and commercial managers to achieve the new orders objectives of Linac & Brachytherapy product portfolio and its associated products and services.
Responsibilities:
Commercial Support
- Support to identify sales opportunities in existing customer sites and into new sites in close collaboration with the local commercial team.
- Support the sales & commercial team with in-depth product expertise
- Make product presentations and demonstrations when required
- Consult and give advice of how to set up services for concerned business lines and clinical workflow
- To provide support and advice for the configuration of offering to customers
- To provide support in answering tender document
- To implement marketing plans for Elekta Linac & BrachyTherapy solutions by driving specific programs, respectively coordinating and supporting country-specific sales, marketing activities and programs
- Build up a good KOLs relationship in relevant industries.
- To attend and represent Elekta at conferences, symposiums, shows and other events as required
- Develop, implement, maintain and follow Quality procedures as they pertain to company policy
- Drive efficiency programs identified by self or others within Elekta
- Incorporate Elekta Values into all departmental functions and responsibilities
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
Physics and Clinical Support
- Provide pre-sales support including demo presentation and reply to tender specifications
- Provide pre-sales support including layout design, shielding & physicist calculation for Elekta Solutions
Authorities:
- To propose configurations and solutions for Elekta's Products and associated services and products to the customers
- To Assist Project Implementation from Clinical and Medical Physics perspective
Relevant Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:
- Bachelor's degree in Physics, Nuclear Engineering, Biomedical Engineering - Master's degree in Medical Physics is preferred
- At least 3 years' experience and solid knowledge of the medical devices industry, experience in Linac and Brachytherapy clinical environment is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Skilled speaker and representative in social contacts
- Strong multi-tasker and experience covering a broader region (along with all the travel it requires)
- Fluency in English is required
- Comprehensive knowledge of computer tools / IT skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- Excellent team player at all levels and strong interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge/understanding of Elekta's product portfolio
- Demonstrated strong business comprehension and acumen
- Strong in building and maintaining customer focus and customer relationships
- Results-oriented, operative with excellent analytical skills
- Strong ethical standards, values and good judgement
- Persistent, enduring and prepared to make strong personal commitments
