As part of our Shared Services group, comprised of Finance, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Commercial, Legal and Facilities, we support the business achieve their goals through a range of strong technical capabilities. We ensure delivery of services through the skills of our people, methodologies, and systems.
This role is based in Hatch Jakarta office (South Quarter Building, Cilandak, Jakarta Selatan).
- Prepare and lodge monthly VAT return including verification of all supporting documentation
- Prepare and lodge Withholding Tax Return (Art 23/26, Art 4(2), Art 21 including verification of all supporting documentation
- Work with Taxation and Accounts Officer to meet compliance and regulatory deadlines
- Prepare Tax Invoices (Faktur Pajak) using E-Faktur including preparation of commercial invoice using SAP invoicing system
- Liaise with external parties including tax authorities, regulators and auditors as necessary in performance of duties and;
- Coordinate with Project people and client on any invoicing issue and collection process
- Administer collection of original Art 23 from client (evidence of tax withheld/paid by client. Tax credit to PT Hatch)
**You bring to the role**:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting and tax in foreign companies (multinational company).
- Minimum education (S1) Bachelor of Accounting with a strong academic record (GPA >3.00)
- Previous internship experience in the top 5 tax practice is an advantage
- Knowledge of Accounts Payable, Receivable, tax report processes and GL reconciliation
- Knowledge of E-Faktur and SAP system
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Understands tax compliance/rules and experience with VAT & WHT return compilation
- Familiar with audit document administration process.
- Good command of English both verbal and written
- Knowledge of general bookkeeping procedures
- Experience working in an engineering or related services company is an advantage, but not mandatory
- Able to work under pressure. desire to learn and continuously develop
- Willing to work in a team, proactive, and ready to help other teams if needed.
