Accountant / Senior Accountant

Writer : Admin Date : 2022.04.27 Job Description Thecandidate will be in charge of completing various assignments eitherindependently or as a team while reporting to the director / manager inareas such as audit, accountancyand tax compliance including but not limited to the preparation offinancial statements and tax computation, filing of profits and personaltax returns, and responding to IRD enquiries.
Job Duties Basic understandings of business operations of the clients and work closely with clients to obtain necessary data& information to prepare management accounts and other reports;
Provide accounting and bookkeeping services to clients;
Prepare management accounts for clients;
Prepare other accounting related reports for clients as necessary.
Requirements Diploma in Accounting or related discipline;
Ability to work independently and deal with competing deadlines;
Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills;
At least 5 years solid working experience in accounting preferably gained in a professional firm;
Experience in dealing with foreign clients is an advantage;
Knowledge of accounting software (especially MYOB andXero) will be advantageous ;
Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Chinese Word Processing ;
Good command in written and spoken English and Chinese. Fluency in Putonghua is a plus;
Student member/member of HKICPA or other recognisable professional accounting bodies is a plus.
Candidates with higher qualification and experience will also be considered for the post of manager or assistantmanager .
