**Responsibilities**:
Lead the preparation and analysis of accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations for financial decision-making.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, keeping abreast of changes in accounting regulations that may impact the company.
Coordinate and manage external audits, acting as the primary point of contact for auditors and ensuring a smooth audit process.
Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimize financial performance.
Identify and implement process improvements in financial and accounting procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Supervise and mentor a team of finance and accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Oversee cash flow management, including monitoring banking activities, optimizing liquidity, and managing relationships with financial institutions.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA designation is highly preferred.
Proven experience as a Finance and Accounting Manager in the insurance industry.
Thorough understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
Proficiency in financial management software and advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
Experience in managing external audits and interacting with auditors.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
