**About the job**:
This role is a key member of the accounting team, responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
You will....
**Financial Reporting**:
- In charge for accounting and treasury activities in Loreal Indonesia,
- Responsible for Group reporting (balance sheet, cash flow and tax forecast) with Shared Service Team
- Conduct regular review on financial statement (Balance Sheet).
**Month-End Close**:
- Manage the month-end close process, ensuring all deadlines are met (will work with Shared Service Team).
- Reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.
**Internal Controls and Compliance**:
- Ensure Accounting and Treasury processes are in compliance with internal controls.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Stay up-to-date on accounting pronouncements and regulatory changes.
**Other Responsibilities**:
- Assist with audits, both internal and external.
- Prepare ad hoc reports and analysis as requested by management.
- Collaborate with other departments on accounting-related matters.
- Acts as Key User/Champion for some Finance tools
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory experience.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting requirements.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, Blackline) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
