**Job Description**:
**ABOUT YOUR ROLE**:
Oversees the general accounting functions and the preparation of reports and statistics reflecting earnings, profits, cash balances and other financial results, in addition to managing employees.
Manage an Accounts Payable Team.
**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE**:
Employee Development & Management
- Train and provide development opportunities for staff.
Ensure annual goals are complete and communicated.
Ensure Global Performance Management System is up to date and regular feedback is provided to staff members.
- Monitor and evaluate team members, and adjust training where needed.
- Attract, retain and develop high potential talent.
- Model and promote the Corporation's Code of Business Ethics and Values.
- Act as a team role model and change-agent.
- Positively lead and influence team members to partner together to achieve individual and business goals.
- Coordinate team efforts, create and manage a regional strategy and team operating plan.
Operations
- Responsible in accounting, ensure company's financial transactions comply with Group Control Policy, ensure group accounting reports adopt correctly the US GAAP.
- Responsible for daily general ledger activities, balance sheet account reconciliations, its review, analysis and follow up action, developing adjusting entries as needed, coordinating month-end closing process, maintaining and analyzing actual costs to estimates/budgets, determining and analyzing variances, and resolving inquiries from all managers regarding monthly financial results, prepare required financial reports for corporate accounting as well as those required for generation of internal financial packages.
- Provide technical and administrative supervision to the general accounting function, maintain integrity of financial reporting systems, and provide analytical support regarding financial statements and general ledger.
- Manage an assigned functional area, such as General Accounting and Cost Accounting.
Organize tasks, work processes, methods and procedures; establish and monitor controls to evaluate unit performance.
- Responsible for compliance, ensuring the regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met (Bank Indonesia, Foreign Investment Department, Ministry of Justice, etc.)
- Responsible in audit process and completing the Statutory Audit Reports and its reconciliations with US GAAP
- Responsible for adequate internal control implications in all cross functions in the organization
- Managing working capital and cash flows, liaising with banks to improve the support, validate the profile of new suppliers, review and verify payable documents, control capex spending.
- Interact with various departments to resolve problems, perform research and provide support.
- Ensure all tasks are assigned and performed on time by managing tasks in priority scale
- Demonstrate and inspire integrity, anticipate questions, issues and challenges from management, external audit, etc, avoid financial surprises, anticipate questions and challenges, stay current with requirements, keep management informed of any issues or gaps, ensure accuracy of analysis, challenge assumptions and ensure compliance.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related education, preferable graduated in Master Degree
- 7+ years accounting with minimum 3 years experience as manager
- Strong leadership skills
- CPA strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and knowledge of PSAK and US GAAP.
- Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Microsoft Office, Google file, Oracle
- Knowledge of statutory applicable state and tax laws.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Able to work under pressure with tight deadlines
