Accounting Manager (Logistic)

We have multiple business units within the venture portfolio (payments, remittance, digital bank, p2p lending, and securities), have access to extensive networks nation-wide, and are supported by strong ecosystems & resources. We believe that the Financial services industry is yet to be disrupted and the only way to do that is by having cohesive and open collaboration within the Financial Services industry as well as cross-industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting :
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or applicable accounting standards. Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and other relevant financial information. Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, highlight key insights, and provide recommendations for improvement. Budgeting and Forecasting :
Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and forecasts. Monitor and analyze budget versus actual performance, identify areas of concern or opportunity, and provide recommendations for corrective actions. Assist in the development of financial models and projections to support strategic decision-making. Requirements: Minimum 7-8 years solid work experience in Retail/logistics/e-Commerce related industry with proven experience as an Accounting Manager or in a similar role Bachelor degree in Accounting or equivalent, Masters degree or accounting body certification is a plus (CPA, CEMA, ACCA etc) Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls Proficiency in accounting reporting software Highly proficient with excel spreadsheet (macros, lookup and pivot tables).
