**The opportunity**

This position is accountable for the Sharia pricing and profitability management; providing sufficient pricing review includes assess on the sharia principle, monitoring and analyzing profitability and build/create a tactical and strategy initiative for the business. The purpose of this position is to manage the risk especially financial risk related to product and pricing.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible to understand and execute the end-to-end process of pricing work for Individual Sharia insurance product initiatives, including performing modeling / analysis, supporting approval work from local management and regional stakeholders, as well as supporting regulatory filing and system enhancement work.
- Identify the appropriate pricing assumptions as well as underwriting needs for new business/product and evaluate profitability and risk analysis of the new and existing Sharia products.
- Recommend Sharia initiatives to enhance profitability on new as well as existing business based on regular the product profitability review result. Ensure to capture recent pricing methodologies as determined by local authority or global company guidance

**What we are looking for**
- University Degree majoring in Mathematics, Statistic or Actuarial Science.
- Experience with spreadsheets and databases.
- Proficient in Microsoft (Excel, Power Point), and actuarial modeling software (e.g., AXIS)
- Good progress on actuarial exam (PAI, SOA, IAA, etc.).
- Sharia certification is recommended.
- Having strong analytical and critical thinking
- Demonstrate good communication and project management skills Effective command of English, both spoken and written.
