Summary of Responsibilities: Create and refine hot pot recipes, taking into consideration flavor profiles, presentation, and customer preferences Collaborate with Ah Yat Culinary team to test and evaluate dish concepts and provide constructive feedback Assist in sourcing and selecting high-quality ingredients and equipment for the hot pot operations Provide guidance on menu pricing, portion control, and cost management to optimize profitability Train and mentor Ah Yat Culinary team on hot pot cooking techniques, presentation, and quality standards Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations in the hot pot preparation area Stay updated with customer feedback and reviews to continuously improve and customize the hot pot options Requirements Only for Chinese Expat Minimum of 2 years proven experience as a Hot Pot Chef or Consultant, with deep understanding of Hot Pot cuisine and culture; Specialty in Szechuan and Chongqing Hot Pot Having previous experience opening Hot Pot Restaurants is a must Assist the team in adding a Hot Pot section in Ah Yat Abalone Chinese Restaurant Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards, HACCP certification is desirable Eloquent in English communication in both written and spoken
