Corporate Risk and Broking ("CRB") in Indonesia is looking for an experienced Construction and Mining colleague to work with our Head of Construction and Natural Resources as direct reporting line manager with matrix reporting line to the Head of CRB Indonesia, Regional and Country colleagues to shape and deliver an ambitious growth agenda across the business. This role has responsibility for driving revenue growth for Construction and Mining in Indonesia through the creation and execution of an agreed collaborative strategy. The role includes identification, business development and management of business opportunities, as well as servicing and management of existing clients.
**The Role**
- Working with the broader WTW Indonesia colleagues, the Regional Construction and Energy Teams and the Head of Construction and Natural Resources to manage and deliver new business growth and a future pipeline of opportunity in line with management expectations, leveraging the tools and capabilities within WTW to position the organisation's brand for success and drive tangible ROI from marketing activities.
- Close collaboration with WTW Singapore Regional teams and broader network offices to drive the development of new business across the region (including Asian FDI), contributing to and supporting initiatives in tandem with WTW's growth plans, as well as the broader Regional Lines of Business strategies.
- Developing robust stakeholder relationships in tandem with the broader Construction and Natural Resources team and other Specialty businesses to understand and articulate WTW's value proposition.
- Personal responsibility for agreed new business production targets, owning, developing, and closing a portfolio of large new business opportunities with the broader team.
- Support the broader team or lead directly, as appropriate, our engagement, coordination, and response to major client RFPs.
- Delivering best in class market broking into the local insurance market and collaborating with our Global Network and Broking Centers in line with Regional Engagement Principals.
- Continued development of a robust knowledge our clients businesses and markets, as well as keeping up to date and providing thought leadership relevant to business trends and insights.
- In-depth contribution to the delivery of comprehensive benchmark studies, focus group insights, innovation and best in class broking / placement solutions for our clients, including but not limited to the negotiation of traditional and non-traditional risk and insurance solutions, delivery of competitive pricing, fit for purpose policy wordings and the resolution of technical matters.
- Working with and supporting the broader team and leadership in the day-to-day aspects of account management and administration, including billing transactional work, data input within in-house systems and budgets, premium payment monitoring etc, and ongoing servicing requirements ensuring an efficient and effective work process.
- Working closely and collaboratively with the Risk and Engineering and Claims teams both in country and in Asia.
- Working closely and collaboratively with the broader Natural Resources and Construction teams to support new business initiatives in particular relative to Energy Transition and Renewable Energy.
- Developing robust stakeholder relationships in tandem with the broader Natural Resources team, Construction team and other Specialty businesses to understand and articulate WTW's value proposition.
- Supporting and sector initiatives including the development of new product / service awareness.
- Any other duties that may be required from time to time, to support the Head of Construction and Natural Resources, Asia.
- All duties and work activities shall be undertaken in accordance with WTW's Corporate Policies and Compliance Framework.
The Requirements
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience.
- Track record in building relationships with key stakeholders of large clients in Indonesia
- Executive presence including the ability to network, influence, and collaborate with a complex range of interpersonal styles within WTW, client organisations, and partners/vendors/carriers.
- Strong business acumen: the ability to learn quickly about WTW's capabilities, strategic plans, and business objectives. Holding the required insurance broker qualification and/or certification from the Indonesian Insurance Brokers Association (APARI) with a minimum of Level 5 BNSP / LSPPI.
