Associate Lawyer

Job Responsibilities
- Fluent communication in English.
- Assist senior legal professionals in researching and analyzing Indonesian laws and regulations relevant to the client's business activities.
- Review and draft legal documents, contracts, and agreements, ensuring compliance with Indonesian law and company policies.
- Conduct legal research to support ongoing cases, transactions, and legal projects.
- Provide legal support in due diligence processes, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate transactions, ensuring all legal requirements are met.
- Prepare legal opinions, memos, and reports on various legal issues, summarizing findings and recommendations.
- Participate in contract negotiations, providing legal advice and expertise to ensure the company's interests are protected.
- Stay updated on changes in Indonesian laws and regulations and provide insights on potential impacts on the organization.
- Manage and maintain legal documentation, contracts, and records in an organized and accessible manner.
- Support in the preparation of legal budgets, expense tracking, and financial reporting related to legal activities.
- Maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving, offering practical solutions while ensuring legal compliance.

Minimum Qualifications
- 2-3 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department.
- A bachelor's degree in law from a reputable Indonesian law school.
- Admitted to the Indonesian Bar Association (PERADI) or eligible for admission within a reasonable timeframe is preferable.
- Solid understanding of Indonesian laws and regulations, with a focus on corporate and commercial law.
- Strong drafting and reviewing skills for legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
- Experience with legal research tools and databases.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple legal tasks effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external legal partners.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide practical legal solutions.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in all legal matters.
- Proficiency in using legal software and tools for document management and legal research.
- Willingness to adapt to changes in the legal landscape and learn continuously.
