**Your Focus**
As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for the quality of the overall Factory Automation System, specifically of the shopfloor system both in hardware and software.
This position is Indonesia - Karawang based and will report to the Manufacturing Manager.
**How You Will Contribute**
- Perform a variety of tasks to build an automation machine, equipment, and software to support manufacturing processes that are suitable with the latest technology.
- Conduct the installation, diagnosing, and repairing hardware and software through troubleshooting required.
- Recognizes and takes steps to resolve operating problems to minimize impact on the operations.
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement programs to promote facility growth and development.
- Lead regional and global project implementation by Liaising with regional and global SMEs (shopfloor improvement team, IT team, Data Security team, and SAP team).
- Coordinate and monitor work progress with users and relevant parties to expedite project implementation and user acceptance.
- Creating scripts for routine SAP transactions and presenting the results in the form of charts and graphs on the dashboard.
- Become an SME in Dynamic Material Allocation which supports flawless material movement on the floor.
- Vendors sourcing for more advanced data analytics and software creation.
**Job Requirement**:
**What will you need to be successful?**
- Bachelor's degree qualification in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or Computer Science / Engineering/, with applicable technical knowledge, is required.
- At least 5 years of experience in the automation field. Ideally well connected in the industry.
- Proficient in verbal and written English
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic programming language
- Experienced mínimal 2 years in Excel Marco and script
