Manulife Indonesia Bancassurance Business Development Lead will be primarily assisting and supporting Head of Bancassurance Strategy, Business Development and Quality to ensure additional capacity to be responsible to start building new partnership with banks and also implementing Danamon M&A acquisition initiatives, including to be proactively meet with potential partners, Danamon M&A PICs (Adira, Home Credit, Qoala) while also to liaise with all channels in ensuring sufficient capacity and focus on the initiatives

**We are looking for someone with**:
- University degree from reputable university, preferably in Business Administration or Financial Services
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in financial industry with specific skill on business development and bancassurance business strategy in general. Exposure of and good understanding on life insurance and bancassurance distribution is a plus.
- Industry related accreditation is preferred
- Strong and effective communication and negotiation skills with the ability to bring across ideas succinctly to relevant stakeholder.
- A strong team player and has ability to engage and build strong relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated good leadership and project management skills.
- Well-versed in Microsoft Office skills

**On the job you will**:
- Facilitate discussion and opportunities with potential strategic partnerships (new banks, fintech and other financial institution) and also Danamon's subsidiaries.
- Design value proposition and business model (including go-to-market, sales mode, operating model, service model and technology)
- Building the business case, product ideation to be agreed by internal and external stakeholders
- Implement and lead the discussion narrative internally and externally, specifically on product, digital an technology requirements
- Support the Head of Bancassurance Strategy, Business development and Quality in providing strategic direction on the organization's bancassurance and digital roadmap
**Individual Accountabilities**:
- Liaising with relevant potential bank partner's PIC to ensure agreement on business development opportunities
- Ownership of Danamon "Non Core" initiatives, to ensure Danamon subsidiaries such as Home Credit, Akulaku, Qoala and Mandala to be offered Manulife product and propositions under Danamon partnership agreement
**Key Shared Accountabilities**:
- Liaising with internal stakeholders (e.g., banca distribution and account team, banca strategy and support, banca COE, etc) to ensure alignment on the activities and agreed initiatives
- Liaising with external stakeholders outside bancassurance team (e.g., IT, product, Pricing, Operations, etc) on relevant business development activities
